How to identify slugs
You will know if you have slugs in your garden if there are bite chunks missing from your crop or their leaves. Slugs also leave shiny trails behind them so if you see an increase in those around the garden, you probably have some greedy slugs hanging around. They’ll want to eat your plants the minute they emerge as seedlings!
Our range of slug and snail control are all organic with no threat to children, pets, birds or hedgehogs and will not introduce chemicals to the food chain.
How it works
Nematodes seek out slugs and small snails, they enter the body and start to develop from infective juveniles to adults. In doing so, a pellet of bacteria is released that begins to multiply spreading through the host body. Infected slugs are noticeable by the swollen mantle on their back, this ruptures a few days later releasing thousands of nematodes that seek to infect further slugs.

| When to use | Almost any time of year when soil temperatures are between 5 and 30°C. Rates of use: Apply as a drench using conventional equipment, i.e sprayer, dilutor, watering can or through most irrigation equipment. In all cases remove any fine filters and ensure water temperature is between 5°C and 15°C. |
