When to SowApril to July
Where to SowSow thinly directly into the growing site. If possible, sow carefully to avoid the need for thinning.
What to do NextCarrot fly is attracted by the smell during thinning, so if thinning is necessary, it should be done in the evening. Before thinning, water the area and remove all debris. Do not transplant the seedlings. Young carrots can be pulled alternately to 'thin as you eat.'
