Broad Bean - Aquadulce Claudia

Discover the gardener's choice with Broad Bean Seeds "Aquadulce Claudia," an RHS Award-winning variety known for its slightly longer pods and increased winter hardiness compared to Aquadulce. This traditional white-seeded variety is a favourite among gardeners, producing plants that reach 100cm in height and 45cm in width, with pods growing up to 22cm long. Perfect for autumn sowing, "Aquadulce Claudia" ensures an early spring harvest. Hardy annual that promises a robust and bountiful crop.
Handy Tip: Bean plants are nitrogen fixers. When cropping is over, cut plants down and dig in as a green manure.

Broad Bean - Masterpiece Green

Introducing Broad Bean Seeds "Masterpiece Green," a gardener's choice known for its long pods filled with bright green beans of outstanding flavour. Each pod can contain up to 7 beans, providing an early and heavy crop. This hardy annual grows well in most conditions and freezes exceptionally well, ensuring a prolonged harvest. The plants reach around 90cm in height and 45cm in width, making "Masterpiece Green" an excellent addition to any garden.
Handy Tip: For best flavour and texture, pick the beans when the pods are 15-20cm (6-8"), but before the scar (the mark where attached to the pod) has discoloured.
