Experience the extraordinary sweetness of Tomato Sungold F1 Seeds, a superior cherry-type variety known for its rich orange fruits and abundant yields. Producing heavily laden trusses of highly flavorful fruit, Sungold offers a harvest that stretches from early summer to late autumn.
This versatile cordon-type tomato thrives equally well indoors and outdoors, combining exceptional sweetness with robust resistance to Fusarium and Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV). Its high sugar content makes it a perfect choice for enhancing salads or enjoying as a snack straight from the vine.
Handy Tip: Harvest the fruits as they ripen to enjoy their best flavor and quality. Maintain consistent watering, but take care not to overwater, as this can lead to the fruits splitting. Following this practice helps ensure a healthy and abundant crop.

Technical specifications
Approx. Seed count | 10 seeds |
When to Sow | January to April |
Where to Sow | Plant Sungold tomato seeds in pots or trays filled with high-quality seed sowing compost. Cover the seeds with a light layer of vermiculite or compost for gentle protection. For optimal germination, place the trays or pots in a propagator set to 18–21°C. |
What to do Next | When the seedlings have developed 2 true leaves and are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots. As they grow taller, move them to greenhouse border soil, or into growbags with three plants per growbag when they reach about 20cm in height. If planting outdoors, wait until the risk of frost has passed. Gradually acclimatize the plants to outdoor temperatures before planting them out in a sunny, sheltered spot. Space plants 60cm apart to allow for proper growth. This variety benefits from regular side-shooting and support with canes for optimal yields. To encourage healthy fruiting, water consistently and begin feeding with a high-potash fertilizer once the first truss of fruit has developed. |
Harvest | July to October |
