Squash Winter Turks Turban
Turks Turban Squash is not only a feast for the eyes but also a culinary delight. Shaped like a cottage loaf, with a smaller squash seemingly bursting out of the top, these squashes have hard, multi-coloured skins in shades of orange, green, yellow, and white. Despite their ornamental appeal, Turks Turban squashes are excellent for eating, perfect for stuffing, and can be cooked whole as an individual portion. They boast a sweet and nutty flavour. Size: These squashes grow to around 25-40cm in diameter and weigh approximately 2-2.5kg. Ideal for adding a unique touch to your meals and harvest decorations.
Squash Winter Butternut Hunter F1
Discover the RHS Award-winning Butternut Hunter Squash, a British-bred hybrid variety developed for exceptional garden performance in the UK. This early and prolific producer yields good-sized fruits with sweet-tasting, bright orange flesh and pale orange/tan skin. Each plant produces 6-7 fruits, making it an excellent choice for home gardeners. Mature and ready to harvest 15 weeks from sowing.
Squash Winter Butternut Waltham Butternut
Enjoy the delightful taste of Waltham Butternut Squash, an elongated pear-shaped fruit with light orange golden skin and deeper orange flesh. Each fruit has a small seed cavity, making it easy to scoop out the seeds before roasting or baking for a delicious flavour. The plants can grow up to 2 meters tall and produce 3-4 fruits each, with an average size of around 22cm long and 2kg in weight. These squashes have a sweet taste that becomes even sweeter after maturing. This variety matures in late autumn, perfect for winter storage. Prefers full sun! Half-Hardy Annual.
