Where to Sow | Poppy Brilliant - Under cover sow seeds onto the surface of a good free draining seed compost. Do not cover the seed as light helps germination. Place at a temperature of 15°C (60°F) until after germination which usually takes 10-21 days. |

What to do Next | Poppy Brilliant - Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into pots and grow on until larger. Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out in a cold frame 30cm (12") apart. Later sowings should be overwintered in a cold frame for planting out the following spring. |
