When to SowMarch to June
Where to SowSow the seeds on the surface of lightly firmed, moist compost and cover with a light sprinkling of vermiculite. Place the container in a propagator or a warm spot with a temperature of 15-20°C (59-68°F). Ensure the seeds receive light for optimal germination.
What to do NextWhen seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into pots or trays. In the autumn, once they are mature enough, plant them out into borders. Alternatively, overwinter the plants in a cold frame and plant them out the following spring.
