Melcourt EcoBark™ Topper is a potting bark for mulching and topping pots and containers in the garden or indoors. Melcourt potting bark is a medium grade bark from sustainably sourced conifer bark. Use it to cover the pot soil and retain water or mulch into the soil to free up and air it. Enhance the appearance and health of your potted plants with Melcourt EcoBark™ Topper. This attractive, dark-colored bark mulch is designed for pot mulching and offers excellent resistance to disturbance, effectively suppressing moss, liverwort, and weed growth.
How to Use:
Suppress unwanted growth: Use EcoBark Topper as a 1-3cm layer on pots to prevent moss, liverwort, and weeds.
Replace peat: Substitute up to 70% of peat in your potting mix with EcoBark Topper.
Combine with other alternatives: Use EcoBark Topper in conjunction with other peat alternatives.
Easy to blend: Easily mix EcoBark Topper with other ingredients, either by hand or machine.
Nutrient requirements: No additional lime or fertiliser is needed, except for supplementary nitrogen in some cases.
